Mini Haul

Nothing too drastic, just picked up a few necessities at the chemist, and also at Clarins!
  1. Schwarzkopf Silhouette Hairspray - A lot of my hairdressing and hairstylist friends use this so I wanted to see what it was all about. Plus it was very cheap, this big can was only $7.99!
  2. Aveeno Positively Radiant Cleanser - To be honest, not my favourite. I think it smells a bit funny and I find myself reaching for the Estee Lauder sample of their Perfectly Clean Cleanser more and more. Even my boyfriend likes the Estee Lauder one more! I think I'm training him right! :P
  3. Clarins UV Plus Sunscreen - This is a mineral sunscreen that is very thin and very lightweight which was why I chose it. I've been using the Clinique City Block for the past 6 months and it's okay I guess but it's definitely not a favourite. I am loving this Clarins one so far, but I wish it came in a bigger bottle! It smells nice as well!
  4. Dove Minimising Deodorant - Well deodorant is deodorant... But I do only use Dove roll on deodorant. I'm not exactly sure why, but it is my favourite. Especially just the original one, it's my favourite scent!
  5. Garnier Tinted Roll-On - Another staple in my daily routine. I spoke a little bit about it in my 2011 favourites :)
  6. L'Oreal Elnett Hairspray - Again, another staple that I spoke about in my 2011 favourites. It is definitely my favourite hairspray, I go through cans and cans of this stuff just because it doesn't make your hair crispy and it is so cheap! Maybe not as cheap as the Silhouette one but this can was only $7.99 too :)

  3. Neat haul Phoebe :) I think sometimes products change their ingredients from country to country and it ends up working differently (kinda like how Coke is different in different countries). My younger sister and I have similar taste in hairspray - I like a light to medium hold that doesn't cause the dandruff look or make my hair crunchy or hard...and my younger sister really detested the Elnett Hairspray. And it costs quite a bit more than $7.99 here - I think its double the price here. But I'm glad that works for you. And I'm glad you like the EL Face Cleanser - Dale really likes the cleanser (just like your boyfriend does!) but I find it a bit too drying....I love the scent and how much it lathers but that's it really. I think it's because I have more sensitive skin? I love most Aveeno products but I know what you mean about their Positively Radiant line - it does have a unique scent :)

  4. I've never tried the Elnett hairspray but that Schwarzkopf one is what I always use. I love it because it doesn't make my hair too crunchy and it smells good. :D

  5. Oooh I need to pick up some hairspray... I always avoid the Schwarzkopf one cos it's so cheap for so much that I feel like it won't be that good LOL but I've heard really good things about the L'Oreal one!!

  6. Ahhh, so sad to see you don't like the Aveeno cleanser. I have to say I agree that it does smell really odd as it's fragrance free and it's not that good in terms of the ingredients (it still has parabens)but I like the way mine makes my skin feel. It leaves it feeling really nice and clean. I do have another cleanser though but I imagine them being roughly the same. I've never tried the EL, but I would love to :D

    kisses

  8. I've never tried Aveeno before but I'm curious as to how good it is because recently I've been seeing advertisements for this brand and as far as I know, none of my friends have tried this brand. Have you tried any other products from Aveeno?
I love Dove's deodrant too, I don't know why I'm more drawn to Dove than any other at the drugstore - I used to use Sure but switched to Dove and haven't switched back since.
Thanks for sharing this lovely haul. x
