FOTD: Yummy Espresso + Countouring help? + Photo Tag + Giveaway!

Gosh it's amazing what lighting can do for your complexion! I took some of these photos in bright sunlight near my window and my face looks seriously FLAWLESS! :D This was taken yesterday, I was about to go to my mom and sister's baptism so I decided something that's neutral and not too heavy, clearly as it's church. Nothing too complex and but I liked it! I never really thought about using Espresso as a lid colour for some reason until now, weird....

I've been going Christmas shopping left right and center, again to pick out my presents and I just totally realized how picky I am... I must stop being so picky! I did get the Clinique 3-step skincare system today, though I'm not allowed to use it until Christmas :P I hope it works because the random breakouts on my chin from stress HAS TO STOP!

Anywhoooo, I wanted to contour my round as face more and was wondering if anyone has a good suggestion about which one to get? It can be any brand, I don't really judge stuff by brands anyway! :P

This photo was while I was in Indo a few months ago, we don't have Starbucks here in Perth so everytime I go back home to Jakarta I try to have a green tea frappucino everyday (yes, I am psychotic, help me!) but I'm pretty sure I was at Plaza Indonesia and this was after a longggg day shopping and my mom, my sister and me just wanted to sit down. We couldn't find a seat inside so we had to go outside in the sweltering heat and I wanted to die, you all know how I hate the heat! My sister wanted to take a photo of me and my beloved frappucino but I was cleaning my teeth... yeah... great photo taking skills my sister has :P

New Haircut + eBay Purchases + BeautyshopOC Update

Hi everyone! I just got a haircut today and it is the first time since I was like 9 that I have bangs! They are a bit longer and I can put them to the side if I wish to but I love them so much! I still have to get used to the fact that they will get in my eyes once in a while though! I get my hair cut with Sorge at the House of Ernest and I have been going there since I was about 13, so technically, no one else in this world has touched my hair other than the lovely Sorge. I trust him beyond words with my hair and he has never failed me :)

Ever since I saw xppinkxx dye her hair and the lovely eki always dying her hair, I was also thinking of dyeing my hair lighter as well, but my mom won't let me, she thinks I have nice coloured hair already haha What do you guys think I should do?

So my eBay purchases arrived :D They actually arrived really quick, probably a few business days after I purchased them and they are exactly what I pictured them to be. Problem is, it doesn't really keep my hair back? Like, it doesn't really stay and it's not sturdy. Is it because I have really thick hair? I've only used one of the pink ones and the bow one once, it is definitely cute though :)

As for BeautyshopOC and their lack of communication and just general shit-ness of customer service, I will file a PayPal dispute as I have written them another e-mail saying that if they don't fix my situation within the next two days (3 days ago now I think) that I will file a dispute and they still haven't gotten back to me, so I guess I will be filing that dispute. I am so glad I used PayPal to order and I definitely will not be buying from this website again. WARNING TO ALL LADIES: DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM BEAUTYSHOPOC OR IHEARTREDCHERRY! The person who runs BeautyshopOC also runs iheartredcherry and after I've googled them, I've found so many people that didn't get their order. This is completely unacceptable and unprofessional! I hope everyone will spread the word and no one will ever have to go through something like I did again.

So I still haven't heard back from BeautyshopOC, I've tried every e-mail that they have on Contact Us page and every single one, I've had my e-mail returned back to me. It's now been nearly a month! I am seriously pissed and I DO NOT recommend this site to anyone! I was so excited for my Red Cherry lashes and now I just want to curse the site down. I just don't really know what to do? Should I report them? Should I try to get my money back? Ignore it maybe? What do you guys think I should do?

On a lighter note, I have some cooking posts coming up on my cupcakes and this awesome brownie recipe that I saw on Nigella the other night and I might possibly have a Jane from Twilight look coming up too!

Amazing Cosmetics Concealer? + BeautyshopOC = horrible! + Giveaway

So this is the AMAZING concealer that I saw on a few of MichellePhan's video. I mean, that girl already has beautiful porcelain skin but she did have a little bit of dark circles and this product completely erased it! As soon as I saw that I knew that I had to have it!..................... PROBLEM! I don't have a Sephora near me! BUT I do have a friend in Singapore (where they do have a Sephora) and I think I might get her to get me a little miracle in a tube. Another problem was that I wouldn't be there to try the concealers out myself and I'm scared about what shade I should tell her to get me..... For those of you who have not heard about this concealer, apparently it is the most opaque, concentrated concealers out there at the moment and it has gotten some amazing reviews!

Has anyone tried this concealer? If any of you beautiful ladies have, could you please tell me which shade you got and what foundation shade you are? Or if you know of a page that has swatches or whatever? I seriously have been looking all night for SOMEONE that has swatched this concealer or has done a review on the concealer and I have come up with na-da :( It does come in 7 shades:

So I've bought like 6-7 pairs of Red Cherry eyelashes from www.beautyshopoc.com, this was 3 weeks ago, more probably and since I haven't received the package I checked on my account there and it's still "PROCESSING"?? ARE YOU KIDDING ME??!? I sent them a "contact us" msg with no reply, this was over a week ago, and also tried to send them an e-mail yesterday or the day before and the e-mail got sent back to me because the e-mail doesn't exist or something? I am just seriously livid right now, if they had some difficulty processing my request, and they told me about it when I tried to contact them, that's fine, I'm pretty forgiving, but I am not getting any communication back! I've checked my bank account and THEY HAVE ALREADY DEDUCTED THE MONEY FOR IT!!! Has anyone bought anything from beautyshopoc before? Have you guys had this problem?

Lack of Posts + Daddy

Hi hi everyone !

I'm so sorry for the lack of post but I've just been running around a lot lately, on the weekend it was my bf's birthday, then I found out my dad is sick (he's in Jakarta) and in hospital so I've been pretty upset and been worrying my butt off and crying and stuff.. Just haven't really had the time to play with make up, I've been looking like a DOG lately! My dad is doing better but he is still in hospital so I've just been praying and praying that he will get better enough to come here for Christmas because that is all I want, just to see him and give him a hug and to tell him that I love him.

I haven't had the best of relationships with my dad, my parents are divorced and he was absent a lot when I was younger but when I got older I started to talk to him more, and as much as I hated him for not being there, for HER being around him and not letting me talk to him sometimes, at the end of the day, he is my dad and I love him dearly no matter what. Just hearing he was in hospital broke my heart, I couldn't stop crying and I was so worried that I wasn't just there with him (he didn't want me to come home, because he was so convinced he was fine), but it also made me realized how much he meant to me. I'm a worrier and I have negative thoughts sometimes which I have block and shoo away from my head, but I really thought I'd lose him and I really wouldn't be able to cope to have lost him and not mend my relationship with him. This is why I've been calling him everyday, if not call then at least an sms, just so he knows I'm thinking about him because I do... A lot more than he thinks....

Just please don't take your family for granted, I will never do that again, I have learnt so much the past few days, from forgiveness, love, and just to get over my own stubborn-ness it's unbelievable...

I will be back posting probably next week or earlier but just know I am thinking of all you girls :D I am still reading your blogs religiously and leaving comments :) If I could just ask for one thing from you guys, just please pray that my daddy gets better soon... I just want to see him out of the hospital and to come here to celebrate Christmas with us... It would mean the world to me... :)

I decided to try and find a look that would compliment the red lips so of course I just went with a simple classic liner look and barely anything else. I am definitely liking red lips more and more, but I still want the a matte red lipstick instead of a shiny finish. For some reason, I just think that it will look more subtle on me if it's not a shiny finish.. Enjoy!

I need help girls! I am dying to get my hands on the Coastal Scents HD Foundation but I am definitely stuck on what shade to get. I watched Fafinettex3's review on it last night and the colours that I saw on the video definitely does not look like the shade picture provided on the website. I have been wanting to try a HD foundation for so long and for the $16.95 price tag on the Coastal Scents one, how could I refuse???

If anyone of you guys have bought the Coastal Scents HD Foundation before, would you pretty please leave a comment telling me what shade you are in another foundation (MAC, MUFE, etc) and then tell me which shade you got in the CS HD Foundation and whether it was a good match or not? I know this is totally a long shot as the product JUST came out but if anyone could help, that would be so awesome! Thank you in advance! :D

New Foundation + My 1st Rouge Volupte Lipstick! + Awaiting haul... + This Is It

I finally got a new foundation! WOOOO! I am now an NC25, though I swear this is a little teensy bit too dark for me... Oh my gosh, I felt sooooo pale! I don't think I've ever been this pale before, but in all seriousness, I THINK I like it? My first rouge Volupte also arrived! I got it in #16 Red Temptation, because I thought it would be a similar colour to Russian Red, which it is, but I realized after I got it that I actually really wanted a matte finish... sigh.. I'm silly! There's a swatch on my lips and arm below, and I am in advance, apologizing for my noobness and messiness in applying the red lipstick, I am still in need of red lip liner and plus I just got up :P

So I watched This Is It with my mom and grandma on Tuesday (I watch a movie with them every Tuesday :P) and oh my gosh I thought it was amazing! I was in awe all throughout the movie, his voice sounded so good, and his dancemoves... only Michael can pull those off! There were parts throughout where I was just so sad because I can't believe he's gone, he was definitely one in a million and was just so full of love, the world lost a great man. Rest in peace MJ, you will surely be missed.
